The Wiley Foundation is committed to a humane approach to Lubbock County’s increasing
population of stray and feral outdoor cats and dogs.
The Wiley Foundation is dedicated to the Trap, Neuter, Return (TNR), rescue, rehabilitation, and
rehoming of animals in crisis. TNR requests ramp up during mating season. Our organization provides trapping, transportation to vets, animal feeding, and care for local TNR.
We aim to build a community of animal advocacy where the animal and human bond is
celebrated and nurtured. Our hope is to help educate the local community through TNR and
show the importance of spaying and neutering of pets. We also work to support animal
adoptions and create pet home enrichment solutions for local residents.
Our organization provides TNR support, assists with medical and veterinary care for sick or
injured feral cats and stray dogs, assists with finding homes for strays, including vetting
adoption candidates, and builds community awareness around the importance evidence based
policies and programs to improve the lives of cats and dogs. In the future, we hope to expand
our efforts to help educate local decision makers to impact law and policy changes to better
support our animal community.
